It looks as if I spoke too soon.
I thought I had discovered a cure for spider plants a couple of months ago, but here's what the same six pots look like now. Look closely, and you'll see that two are sprouting nicely, three are struggling back to life and one has a suspiciously fat looking root lurking just below the surface:
In my defence, the edges of the leaves are looking decidedly ragged, so maybe the slugs will come and finish them off?

MW - you qualify as a member of the government in that you haven't a clue what you are doing - do you?
Warmth, sunlight (not direct) water and tlc - you can't treat them like women!
Even slugs won't eat spider planyts! You're stuck with 'em... ;)
They're like Yucca plants. I left one of those in the garden for two years because it had spawned too many new ones in the house. It's six feet high, it's been covered in snow over two winters and it's still alive.
I thought about dynamiting it but then imagined a thousand of them, popping up all over the garden.
Sometimes you just can't win.
